Departure the morning towards Djenné in public
transport, crossing by ferry of the Bani river.
Djenné is often presented like the most beautiful city of Mali.
All constructions are coated with banko giving to the walls
the color of the ground. You will visit the large mosque, the wall of
Tapama, the various districts of the city whose architecture is of
Moroccan style or Toucouleur style. Point of view on the city from the top of
some terraces.
Visit of the very coloured market which is held in front of the
mosque (Monday only).
Possibility of visiting Djenné Djéno, the archeological site
of old Djenné.
Return to Mopti in the afternoon.
